On my way to Shaolin i had the chance to film a few encounters. Some friends showed me the way to special kung fu secret villages and private martial art schools. I learned a lot from Master Cheng Xiu and Mister Chiao Kang. On my way back I managed to produce a few tracks to go with my souvenirs footage from China. And as a result, I made an album that tells the story of my journey to Ganxi Dong village. It describes the people I met, the friends I made, and most of all the long search to master inner self wisdom. As I shut this candle to go to bed, I see the reflection of my shadow on the wall. Reminding me that without light there is no shadow...
